The HWRHS Theatre Department will be performing the new musical Freaky Friday, on December 8, 9, and 10 @ 6:30 pm, in the Ferrini Dramatics Center (775 Bay Rd. South Hamilton, MA). Come out and support our cast and crew! Tickets will be available at the door - $10 for students/staff and $15 for the general public, cash or check only.
Melody Miles was a HUGE success! Thank you to our sponsors, runners, musicians, and volunteers. It was truly a team effort, and we are SO very thankful for all of your contributions and awesome energy.
A few fun facts: This year we had 172 registrants (7 of which did the virtual 5mi). Our oldest runner was 90, and the youngest was 4. We raised 13k in sponsorships, and when all is said and done we expect our net revenue to be around 14k. That makes this our most profitable race to date, and we are thrilled to be able to give it back to the schools as we fund future grants!

One of the things that makes our annual Melody Miles fundraiser so special is our musicians. Students and community members line the road singing and playing for you as you walk, run, or dance your way along our scenic local race route. We love having community members of all ages join us for this fun day! Musicians are welcome to sign up as solo artists, duos or groups!

This year the Hamilton-Wenham Friends of the Arts is bringing our 5k race back, in person, at Winthrop Elementary School, on Saturday, May 28th at 10am. Our talented student performers are also returning to sing and play for you as you walk, run, or dance your way along our scenic local race route. And don’t worry, if you still want the challenge of our 5 mile race, we are offering the option as a virtual opportunity for you to still support the arts AND get a coveted race t-shirt! We can’t wait to see you at the starting line.
